Yes, a floral dress is a friendly reminder of that cool ocean breeze on a hot summer day. A reminder of sand between your toes and the sun shining on your face.

Floral patterns are pretty gorgeous on their own, so accessorizing tends to be a little difficult. The last thing you want is to look like a freshly potted plant...

The best way to dress up one of these numbers, is do so very subtly and let the dress do the talking....or blooming if you will.

For jewelry I would go light. Maybe a simple chain pendant or little silver color; stud earrings or small tops.

For shoes stay neutral with nudes, tans, black, pastel pink or white.

And go ahead....fall for some floral this spring.
